Please note: this key has to be pre-coded with the BSI/ EEPROM/Precode then diagnostically Remote:
Diagnostically. There are only 2 machines available that can do this key diagnostically, Genuine AVDI or Zedfull
Programming: This remote control requires diagnostic programming available at your local qualified automotive locksmith. Please contact your programming source prior to purchase to be certain they have the proper diagnostic tools to program this remote to your vehicle. Please NOTE the DEALER may not program this for you as they prefer to sell the remote to you. Please go to a locksmith in your area instead of the dealer.
3 Steps:
1. The valet key must be cut by a qualified automotive locksmith to match your vehicle's ignition
2. The remote must be programmed by a qualified automotive locksmith to your vehicle's installed RKE system.
3. The transponder chip (contained on the remote circuit board) must be programmed by a qualified automotive locksmith to sync with your vehicle's immobilizer to start your engine.

2. Type in the words: Automotive locksmith
3. Then type in your ZIP code
4. click search
5. google will compile a list of local automotive locksmiths for you!
6. Call them and tell them you have a remote for (your) Make Model & Year vehicle - And ASK if they have the equipment to sync it with your car.

What happens if you buy a used remote that was not unlocked / reflashed?
Unfortunately Dodge Chrysler Jeep developed a technology in some of their key fobs that makes it impossible to re-program the Dodge Chrysler Jeep key fob to another vehicle unless the key fob remote has been erased or flashed. Once the key fob is programmed to a vehicle, it can only be re-programmed to that vehicle unless an erase or flash service is done. We ONLY sell these Dodge Chrysler Jeep remotes that have been cleared for you.
- All remotes include working batteries (except case-only purchases)
- A purchased remote needs to be programmed after you receive it in order to work with your specific vehicle
