Compatibility 1: FCC ID number on current remote MUST match with one of the FCC ID #s listed below.
Compatibility 2: Original remote's PART # must match one of the part #'s listed below.
PLEASE NOTE: when we unlock these remotes we often have to take them out of the original case and solder points on the board to the computer in order to return them to a refurbished virgin "ready-to-program" state. Therefore; they may or may not be re-cased into a replacement shell prior to shipment.
PROGRAMMING REQUIREMENTS:
3 Steps:
1. You will need to have the key cut by a qualified automotive locksmith to match your vehicle's ignition
2. You will need to have the remote programmed by a qualified automotive locksmith to your vehicle's installed RKE system.
3. You will need to have the transponder chip programmed by a qualified automotive locksmith to sync with your vehicle's immobilizer to start your engine.

3. Then type in your ZIP code
4. click search
5. google will compile a list of local automotive locksmiths for you!
6. Call them and tell them you have a virgin/unlocked remote for (your) Make Model & Year vehicle - And ASK if they have the equipment to sync it with your car.

What happens if you buy a used remote that was not unlocked / reflashed?
Unfortunately Dodge Chrysler Jeep developed a technology in some of their key fobs that makes it impossible to re-program the Dodge Chrysler Jeep key fob to another vehicle unless the key fob remote has been erased or flashed. Once the key fob is programmed to a vehicle, it can only be re-programmed to that vehicle unless an erase or flash service is done. We ONLY sell these Dodge Chrysler Jeep remotes that have been cleared for you.

Fees for programming are not included in the purchase price. Please check with your local dealership or locksmith to make sure they can properly program this remote before purchasing. Programming Notes:
If you currently have two working remotes, programming can be done by using the programming instructions located in your owner s manual. If you do not have two working remotes you will need to go to a dealer or locksmith for programming.
